Silk-Screen printing

Silk-Screen printing: economically more viable for small runs

As the preferred choice for smaller to medium runs, screen printing certainly comes on top as an economical printing process. This process allows solid color printing.

Unlike other methods, screen printing is usually done by hand and is ideally combined with other assembly work.

In this process the color of the printed image is applied to the product using a screen and a template. The color (ink) is pressed through the screen using a squeegee. The ink that is allowed to pass through the screen forms the image on the part.

In comparison to hot stamping, this method is rather gentle because less force and heat needs to be applied to the product. This means that the scope of the print and the quality are not restricted as much.
