Exactly 70 years ago today, on February 6, 1956, PLASTON was founded. What began as an entrepreneurial idea in the garage of company founder Hans Frei and his son Roland Frei grew over the decades into a globally active company, shaped by conviction, craftsmanship and continuous development.
From the very beginning, it was never about choosing the easiest path, but the right one. New materials, new ways of thinking and the determination to do things better have guided our journey from day one.
Across generations, PLASTON has continued to grow through strong partnerships, bold decisions and people who believed in ideas and consistently brought them to life. Today, we manufacture at three locations worldwide: in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and China. We look back on our history with respect and ahead with curiosity. Because our ambition remains the same: shaping plastic solutions together.
