Evaporator system

The evaporator mat is saturated with water. A fan draws the dry room air through the damp mat and returns it to the room at optimal humidity. Besides the humidification process, the air is simultaneously washed, i.e. cleaned of dust and dirt particles. Because the air holds more or less humidity depending on the temperature, evaporators automatically provide the correct level of air moisture in accordance with the evaporation principle.

Advantages

    • Very low consumption, as the energy for the evaporation is taken from the room air
    • No separate control units, such as hygrostat, required

Disadvantages

    • Sensitive people may notice a slight breeze near the appliance

Energy and performance

  • Humidity output up to 600 g/h
  • Power consumption up to 20 W

Accessories

    • Evaporator mats (to suit each appliance)
    • Ionic Silver Stick (replace annually)

Tips on care / storage

    • Empty residual water every  week and clean/rinse all internal parts
    • We recommend CalcOff for regular cleaning
    • For optimal humidification, replace the filter mat every 2-3 months depending on the water hardness
    • At the end of the season, clean and dry all parts (except for the motor) and insert a new mat, so that the appliance is ready for use again in the autumn
    • Store in a cool place

Hygiene

    • The evaporator is hygienically flawless when cleaned regularly and the mat is replaced as indicated.
    • For optimum water quality maintenance, we also recommend the use of the Ionic Silver Stick (ISS).
