Air washer system

 Air washers humidify and clean the air without the need for filter mats. Special humidification discs turn in the water, which adds moisture to the air. The water acts as a natural filter, which cleans the air of impurities (e.g. dust, pollen and particle-bound odors).

 

Advantages

• Can be used all-year round thanks to the double function of “humidification and cleaning”
• No filter mats required
• Humidifying discs replace the humidifying mats and particle filter
• Ideal for allergy sufferers
• Ensures water purity with the Ionic Silver Stick. This limits the growth of microbes in the appliance through the antimicrobial effect of silver.
• No hygrostat required, as the humidifying function of the appliance is based on the evaporation principle, which automatically provides the right level of humidity in the room. This based on the fact that the air only absorbs as much humidity from the discs as it needs in relationship to the temperature.
• No risk for children, as the fan blades are out of reach of fingers when the appliance is closed.
• Decalcification of the appliance is not essential; minor limescale deposits increase the humidity output. Suitable for all water hardnesses

Disadvantages

• Higher procurement costs – but no need to purchase additional filter mats due to humidifier discs

Tips on care / storage

• Read the instruction manual!
• Empty residual water every 2 weeks and clean/rinse the base
• Clean the humidifier discs every 4 weeks
